Busy time of year...

It is perhaps the busiest time of year with regard to your calendars and ordering oil is probably not at the top of your to-do list.  If you have a chance you may want to take a glance at your oil tank gauge to see if you might need fuel in the next few weeks.  Some things to be aware of, weather forecasters are predicting the possibility of a snow storm next week.  This can cause travel problems for our trucks and delay deliveries.  In addition the following two weeks are holiday weeks which add more delays to delivery schedules.  Orders are booked in a first come first serve basis with priority given to automatic delivery customers.  If you believe you may need a delivery in the next few weeks call now to be scheduled in advance.  Or better yet call to be placed on Automatic Delivery and get the added benefit of 3¢ off per gallon.

Did you know we now offer the ability to get electronic notifications?  As soon as we make a delivery to your account an invoice can be sent to your email.  When we send letters out informing of important changes and offers we can send those electronically as well.  To sign up simply send us an email at lampron@transedge-energy.com indicating your preferred email address and advise you would like to be placed on electronic notifications.  We will take care of the rest!

Invoice versus Statement

As you may have noticed we are sending you both invoices and statements in the mail or via email (if you signed up for electronic billing).  We are sending these as in effort to keep you better informed about your account with us.  So what is the difference?

INVOICE - We send an invoice immediately after your delivery.  This is done EVEN if you prepaid for your delivery.  The reason for this is to provide you confirmation your delivery has been paid for.  Please note, if you are budget customer we are also sending you a statement each quarter so you are aware of any budget payment balance you may have on your account.

STATEMENT - We send a statement to customers who have not paid for their delivery.  Our terms for credit approved customers is payment 15 days after your delivery.  Should we not receive a payment by the 15th day we will send you a statement.

As mentioned we are doing this to keep you better informed of your account with us.  This was brought to us through customer recommendations.  Please keep recommendations coming in we love to hear what you have to say!

Now that it appears winter has officially started (a new record was set on Thursday in Portland with 2.2 inches of snow!) many of you are starting to think about filling your oil tank.  Do you know how much oil is in your tank?

Below we have included an easy to read tank gauge to help you plan your fuel needs.  Please keep in mind as temperatures drop everyone increases their fuel usage.  While we would love to be everywhere everyday it simply isn't feasible, please plan ahead and try to place your order a few days in advance.
